&Joy Dining Hall also houses Pittarino, a pizza concept that serves hand stretched made-to-order Neapolitan pizza using Japanese flavours.

J really enjoyed their teriyaki chicken & scallion pizza. A thin crust pizza is topped with chicken in teriyaki sauce, spring onion, egg, mayonnaise and mozzarella --- basically everything she likes in one dish!

Not for the purist but great when you are looking for something simple, guilty and tasty.

Tried the student meal for $7.90 with Free Flow Ice Lemon Tea, super worth. The crust was tasty and not dry with very savoury meat flavour with seaweed.

Bismark’s one of the cream based pizza options available, topped with spinach, ham, egg, mozzarella and parmigiano. The crunchy crust was nicely thin and a little chewy, but our spinach were a little raw which made it a bit hard to have. Everything else was pretty good though, it’s a likeable combination of toppings!

Wanted to get something different so we picked this interesting fusion option! The Yuzu Vongole has spaghetti with asari clams in vongole sauce, chilli, yuzu and olive oil. Was surprisingly nice! Would have liked more al dente spaghetti, but they use a type of Japanese pasta that had this enjoyable slight chew to them. Yuzu and chilli was subtle, sufficient to give that variety of flavour. Not bad!

Enjoyed the food more than I expected, especially the carbonara! I hate it when my noodles are too soft but this was perfectly al dente :-)

Good flavour too, not overly cheesy/creamy.
