Sea Salt Hojicha + Maple Pecan (Double Scoops - $8)
I felt that most ice cream shops didn't serve much matcha ice cream and they served only hojicha (roasted tea) imo tbh. Hojicha just doesn't have much roasted tea due to sea salt. Maple Pecan really got that nutty aftertaste with maple syrup. I just read through their google reviews talk about their waffles and I think I can try their waffles next time if got enough room for my stomach.
I very picky about pistachios. I think it's just ok. Probably because I have eaten way too many pistachio ice creams wherever I go. Order this if you really need to satisfy your cravings if not I prefer to try the other flavour
Quite nice. This ice cream has a strong hoji cha flavour. I don't really taste the sea salt but I still love all manners of cha alot. So it will satisfy fans. It a good ice cream considering its location in a HDB neighborhood.
Another truly neighbourhood place because you won’t notice this place from the main road.
Hidden at the corner in front of the car park entrance, this place served some pretty good gelato in Serangoon.
They open from midday till late night over the weekend. You can pair the ice cream with some waffles or just the ice cream itself.
This place is vibin' for fam that needs self love, treat yoself vibes and bops.
Get yourself a triple stack ice cream cone, fried chicken wings , cheesy yumyums to go with a tall glass of milk tea or a pale ale from the fridge. This place opens till 2am for the night owls or despo gals and guys who need a sweet fix along with their eyecandy. The decor is simple and straight to the point, e-gals and e-bois will definitely vibe with the artisanal flavored creams and the non fancy pricing.
This is a gem for those living in the area. Alternatively do your laundry next door and wait for the clothes to finish being cleaned while enjoying a sundae. Multi tasking at its best.
My choice: their crispy waffles with a double scoop and choc syrup with a pale ale.
After deciding which dessert place to go, we eventually settled for Pints & Cones! We went for Waffles, with three different scoops of ice cream - Roasted Pistachio, Maple Pecan, and Dark Chocolate!
It was located one stop away from Serangoon MRT (I used my Moovit app again lol) 🥲 and we went on a Monday afternoon, which was pretty peaceful and quiet!
