This classic Vietnamese beef pho soup was delicious - the broth was potent and the beef slices were tender. Also love the silky smooth rice noodles! But the portion could definitely be more generous - there were only 3 slices of the beef :/
The grilled chicken exceeded my expectations many time over only. But the same cannot be said for the noodles as it was a little too dry for me and the dressing can be better. It's a little expensive at 11.90
Worth all cents to try this dish! Super big piece of fish!
Super satisfying Grilled Pork Chop with Rice and Egg ($12.80) at Pho Stopšš» Guess I have always been more of a pork chop than pho girlš½!
Deep-Fried Spring Rolls ($6.40)
.
The Spring Rolls made for a good side dish for sharing. Though it was a tad oily and I would have preferred if the rice roll paper was used instead, the texture was crispy on the outside and it was packed with deliciously seasoned minced meat filling.
Beef Feast Combo ($13.90)
.
I have never been a lover of Vietnamese food as I always felt that it gave off a very bland vibe. So, after all the binging the past few weeks, just felt like having something light to the palate. The beef feast combo @stop.inthenameof.pho comprised sliced beef, beef shin and beef balls but I have a nagging suspicion the shin was missing as I donāt recall having any shank in my bowl. Nevertheless, whilst the sliced beef was lacking in flavour, the beef balls were surprisingly tasty and didnāt feel rubbery like the ones off supermarket shelves.
