Vietnamese Food
If there is one thing that is strongly associated with Vietnamese culture, it has to be the beef pho. Pho seems like an easy dish to make but it's really hard to get it right; the broth has to be tasty, the beef has to be tender, the noodles has to be just right and so on. The verdict is little Vietnam has delivered given how I have been to Vietnam several times both north and south and their version does come close to some of the best pho I have tried. The noodles literally slips off your tongue and the broth compliments it so well. My only ask if that the beef slices could be thinner and softer!
With the onset of festival season, I decided that it was time I had something refreshing and light and the first time that came to mind had to be Vietnamese food. I like how the spring rolls are so simple with just vermicelli and prawns and still managed to be so delicious with the dipping sauce.
It has been a while since I last patronised little Vietnam and it amazes me that the quality of food has actually gotten better in the past one year. The Banh Xeo in my opinion is a must order as it's crispy on the outside yet still soft and moist on the inside. They were rather generous with the prawns and pork belly pieces for only 8 dollars.
The grilled chicken exceeded my expectations many time over only. But the same cannot be said for the noodles as it was a little too dry for me and the dressing can be better. It's a little expensive at 11.90
Hands down the best Vietnamese spring rolls I have ever tried. The proportion of filling is ideal and the spring roll skin is very well fried crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Will come back anytime just for this
I wanted something unique and interesting so I was recommended this. I thought it would be really spicy but it turned out to be really mild. The broth is made using carbs meat so it tasted really good!
I had no idea that a isolated Vietnamese stall in UE square and such wonderful Vietnamese food that I was almost reminded of those in Vietnam. This is by far the most unique omelette which has a soft interior and crispy exterior which included green beans. It was so good we had a second helping; a must try in my opinion!
