Delectable buffet spread featuring flavours from Straits Chinese.

From now until 31 March 2022, savour over 20 Peranakan dishes as part of Peppermint’s buffet spread. Highlights include popular Black Angus Beef Oxtail Pongteh, Nyonya Fish Maw Soup, Ayam Buah Keluak, and Crispy Belachan Chicken served with Blue Pea Rice.

Have their Nyonya Seafood Dry Laksa which is prepared ala minute, dig into the platter of kueh and don’t forget to get their Signature Durian Pengat.

Standard breakfast fare at hotel's buffet restaurant. Staff served the portions in line with SMMs. Nothing unique, but fare was hearty and delicious nonetheless

Beef was well roasted with the right amount of redness. The sauce complements the meat pretty well too.

Food was not bad. But running low on everything. Walk 3 rounds, and still didn't see the oysters n salad. Many of the stations were missing the staff. Even need to wait very long for the cashier to come back for payment. Lotsa waiting throughout the evening.

Marina Mandarin Singapore is offering Christmas takeaway treats from Café Mocha, suitable for the office party or a cosy home celebration with loved ones. New on the menu this year are the Roasted Teriyaki Glazed Turkey, and the Almond Cream Cheese and Raspberry Bûche. Traditional favourites include the Glazed Boneless Ham with Gingerbread Spices, Slow-roasted 100-day Grain Fed Beef, Salmon En Croute as well as the Chocolate Pecan Tart with Hazelnut Cream. For a local twist, there is also the Durian Mousse Yule Log.

Myriad of petite mousses, cakes, kuehs, sweets and ice cream. Cakes are mostly above average.

One of the crowd's favourites. That boney, earthy roasted flavor shines right through served on a soft white bread, complimented with the savory woody mushrooms.

4 large heads of cauliflowers grilled charred on the surface whilst moist and tender on the inside. Great texture and flavor.

The star has to be the salted fermented soy beans which give the dish its characteristic.

Whole Veal Shank Rendang. Infused with the aromatic rempah, the meat fell off the bone with ease. A must try.

This is for seafood fans! The seafood mains (sashimi, crab, oysters, and cooked seafood) were fresh and very tasty. Apart from the oysters, which disappeared immediately after being replenished, there was enough food for the almost-full restaurant.

That said, the non-seafood dishes (like the bread and dessert) were a mixed bag. There was so bread so hard I couldn’t eat it, but another one was soft and fluffy. Most of the desserts were so-so, but the waffle was extremely light and crispy and the durian pengnat was amazing.

If you’re here for the seafood, you won’t be disappointed. But there aren’t many non-seafood options, so keep that in mind if your group has vegetarians or people who can’t take seafood.

One of our most favourite buffet in Singapore. This month Peranakan theme. We love the duck and the ayam buah keluak. We even bumped into one of the top ex Singapore national soccer player dining there. We rated this buffet 9/10.

This whole baby many was carefully prepared with more than 20 ingredients, including saffron, cumin, coriander seed, then roasted whole. It's served with mint yoghurt, spicy tomato salsa and chilli dip. I liked this, and I went for a second round!
