Decided to try something new again at this food centre, from this stall called the 中華面莊 Zhong Hua Mian Zhuang. Specialise with their Chinese style of noodle dishes.

Lots of options here and I went for their sliced noodles, which you can choose to go with either beef, pork ribs or chicken.

Simple and tasty soup with great texture of hand sliced noodles.

braised duck noodles was mid :/ duck was q gamey. soup was oily but tasted q good and had some pork in it which was a surprise

I know there’s lots of option for Chinese foods here in the food centre, and this round I went to this stall called the Chuan Wei Yuan 川味园.

I must warn you about the portion, as all single dishes would served in big standard size that could feed at least 4 people.

Their sauerkraut fish 酸菜鱼 is so addictive with the soup, filled with generous slices of fish inside.

We also went for their sour & spicy shredded pork, chili chicken and shredded potato as well.

It would get more and more salty as you eat all of them.

Found this Mun Chee Kee Salted Vegetable & Pigs Organ Soup stall here in Chinatown that serving the authentic pork soup, which I recommend to go with the assorted one that comes with every part of the pig organ.

You can either pair it with rice or mee suan.

The former popular roasted meat stall here may have closed for good, but the same spot has replaced with another new stall that sell the same thing.

O KEE continue the tradition charcoal roasted method to serve their roasted meat. Their roasted duck layered with savoury seasoning flavour. The skin retains the smoky crisp bites and the meat is chewy and moist enough for me.

Ordered from Chuan Wei Fang Xiang La Xie (川味坊香辣蟹) and the total is only $45 for 6 pax. Really delicious and affordable.

Hopefully after the renovation, price remain affordable.
