Celebrated my grandpa’s 81st birthday at Peach Garden Hotel Miramar. Went on a Thursday night after they reopened and there were a few tables table seated already when I arrived.

Used Eatigo’s 50% for these dishes:
• Fried Carrot Cake with XO Chilli Sauce ($13.91) - Really good carrot cake 8.5/10
• Deep-fried Honshimeiji Mushroom with Wasabi Sauce ($13) - pretty unique dish. The more I ate it, the more I liked the wasabi sauce. 8.5/10
• Roasted Crispy Duck (half) ($40) - Really good crispy duck, fam loved the skin & this dish was wiped out 9/10
• Stir-fried Venison with Spring Onion and Black Pepper Sauce in Pineapple - Pretty good dish, taste was 9/10, presentation was 10/10 ($34)
• Prawn with vermicelli - Super yummy! Love the vermicelli soaked in the broth & the prawns were huge 10/10 ($35)
• Seafood claypot tofu - large prawns, typical claypot seafood tofu 8/10 ($32)

Others (don’t have 50%)
• Shou tou - skin wasn’t very soft and was quite thick 6/10
• Drinks

Total bill paid after discount: $120 (including taxes)

Overall, was a hearty meal with good ambience, good food & not too bad service, will return again with the 50% as the dishes are very pricy.

Photo was taken when we were halfway into the meal. The variety for dim sum is not a lot, but it’s enough for two if you are not picky on food. Food taste great especially the egg tarts. The crust is flaky and crumbly:) simply delicious. Tho I probably will not be back again if I have to pay the full price, even with 50% discount I still find it quite expensive.

(Bill was $68++ after 50% discount)

Wasabi salad cream and salted egg. Hard to go wrong with these.

i was so disappointed because the food quality here is rather poor. the prawns werent the freshest and the other dishes were underwhelmed (e.g. some meat dishes coated with a lot of flour) - i could find similar quality of food at a lower price elsewhere. not to mention, they didnt clearly state that it was two mini abalone (slightly smaller than the size of 1 dollar coin) for the exclusive dish served in the lunch buffet (which they stated in menu as abalone soup). the service was quite bad too - the staff werent attentive. i would not come back again. although its one for one, it is still not worth the money.

A la carte buffet lunch weekend

We paid around $40 per pax, there's additional charge for the tea and tidbits. The menu was quite extensive, good for bigger groups as you get to try more items. Didn't manage to take many photos as there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. Quality of dishes were average, at least ingredients were fresh to begin with and presentation of food was well. Two dishes which caught my attention was the roasted pork and the drunken prawns. Didn't know that Peach Garden offers a range of buffet options across their outlets in Singapore. Would try food and buffet at other outlets too.

Usually $14 and was recommended by my friend Audrey. Worth it. A steal with eatigo discount. They were quite bustling when we came Sunday 830pm
