I am particularly picky when I eat home food outside. Why? Because I've tasted the best and the most authentic and many often don't reach the bar. Loved how this ayam was crispy despite the generous dollop of sambel ijo over it. However, it pales compared to other ayam geprek-selling stores like Gading. The cabe ijo was not spicy for me (might have had spicier ones at home) and very easy to eat. Gading has urap in every main which Papa lacks but Papa makes up for it with a manageable spice level😌🫶🏻
Chicken is boneless and tasty. Chili was awesome and brought out the spice and aroma. Own preference to stick to level 2 to enjoy the kick.
With level 3 sambal sauce. Although there are 15 levels, this already made me sweat, so I guess I can't challenge further. The fried chicken was nice enough, but nothing special. A small part of the rice was wet with soup, I'm not sure was it intentional.
Their star is the 15-level sambal but I couldn't get a full meal so I bought this. It turned out pre-packed, so although it's crispy, it's not hot. Quite big pieces and quite big box. This is level 1 and it's not spicy at all. Still shiok due to the myriad of ingredients.
