ICYMI: This Spanish yakitori bar has moved to a bigger location along Jalan Mesui, bringing with them the same delicious meats from the grill. Burppler Foodgazer attests they only use high-quality ingredients, so rest assured the meal is going to satisfy. Order the Chicken Skin (RM7), Iberico Pork Belly (RM12) and the Spanish Chistorra Chorizo (RM10). On seafood, the Spanish Octopus (RM22) is outstanding — smoky on the outside while tender. For something to feed the table, order from the shared plates section of the menu, where the Grilled Iberico Pork Selection Cuts (RM85) are worth the splurge.

New location, new lunch menu! But extra space for pictures !! Food is good! Lunch menu start from rm20. Only available from Monday to Friday! Tuna baguette as good as pictures shown :P I love it !

What's up with that?", you're probably asking. The conceit is that bringing Spanish ingredients and techniques to the Japanese skewer results in a curiously new appreciation of what can be achieved with kushiyaki. Experimental and provocative, Palillos pulls off a succession of surprisingly impressive inventions ranging from grilled scamorza (meaty, almost savoury semi-soft cheese with a fantastic elasticity and spring) to jamon-wrapped plump prawns to iberico pork belly with wasabi (smoky and crisp on the outside and lusciously fatty inside). It's an interesting little place, alright. The Foodguzzlers are generally wary of fusion food but there's no doubt that Palillos hits all the right notes in this mixed-genre symphony and we love them for it. .
