Had One Prawn & Co's 8-course set dinner was absolutely delicious! 🤤 I especially loved the dry-aged kingfish, which was incredibly tender and flavorful. The jumbo tiger prawns were another highlight – perfectly smoky, juicy, and sweet. And the prawn toast was perfectly crisp. 10/10 would visit again

Tucked away in the vibey enclave of New Bahru, One Prawn & Co is a dining spot that really knows how to create an experience. The open-kitchen concept lets you watch the chefs at work, giving the meal an almost omakase-style “atas” vibe that feels both intimate and exciting.

The meal began with a plump, succulent oyster. The chef was kind enough to let us mix things up! One served grilled with Thai chilli for a punchy kick, and another kept chilled and fresh. That thoughtful flexibility set the tone for the rest of the evening.
From the eight-course menu, the standout for me was definitely the 16-day aged fish. something I’ve never quite experienced before.

The cocktails here deserve a shoutout too. They playfully riff on familiar local flavours, like the chng thng cocktail that’s both nostalgic and refreshing, alongside other inventive mixes that keep things fun and surprising.

Went with my partner to try out One Prawn and Co after hearing rave reviews from my friends, and they did not disappoint at all!

We tried the 7 course set, starting off with their oysters and prawn toast and aioli. I wished I had more bread to eat the aioli as it was really delicious!

Another standout dish for me was the Kingfish Loin with Green Goddess. The pairing was superb, and left me wanting more as I devoured the dish.

Their cocktails are also pretty superb! I myself tried the whiskey sour with bonito flakes, which went pretty well together surprisngly!

All in all, I had a wonderful time at One Prawn and Co, and will definitely be back to try some of the other dishes they have to offer!

I recently visited One Prawn & Co at New Bahru for their course menu and it was an amazing experience. From the cosy, chic interior to its comfortable, relaxed vibes, it’s a superb place to unwind and enjoy great food. They truly live up to their name of One Prawn & Co as their jumbo prawn dish was excellent. It was bursting with flavor and simply amazing. The whole course was great, but other great honourable mentions are the dry-aged kingfish and the ice cream dessert. Highly recommend for seafood lovers and anyone wanting a memorable dinner.

5 stars for One Prawn & Co! We were blown away by the quality and generous portion of the dinner set. Every dish was so delicious but the star had to be the jumbo tiger prawn grilled over coal and finished with burnt leek oil—unforgettable!

Another favourite was the octopus with assam pedas hummus that was cooked so beautifully - tender, spicy and tangy. So appetising !

To top it off, the service team was wonderful—attentive, polite, and explained every dishes with us. A truly memorable dining experience from start to finish !

beautifully executed set dinner, i loved every dish but my will-come-back-fors are definitely the prawn toast, jumbo prawns, aged kingfish loin and the burnt toast icecream sandwich! can’t wait to come back to try the other dishes, the next table ordered a lobster pao fan (?) and it looked amazing too
