Hello there. I love getting my lunch at Omnivore as I feel it’s totally value for money and more importantly they serve good quality food.
But off late, I’ve experienced a disturbing poultry smell in their chicken preparations. Even when we go to their retail outlet in Raffles, the whole place smells of poultry.
Not sure if it’s because of change in the source or new preparation methods.. this noticeable poultry smell affects the overall enjoyment of the meal. It seemed like the chicken might not have been as fresh as it should have been.
I understand that occasional issues can arise in any kitchen, but this is a concern that needs attention.
I encourage the management to ensure rigorous quality control measures are in place for their chicken procurement and storage.
I wanted to give this feedback in Omnivore’s website but couldn’t find their website or feedback section. Pls take this feedback as constructive. It is only because customers like me want to encourage the improvement & help the business.
Cheers!
I’ve been having omnivore for years since my bf started working at Raffles Place and I can never get over the food here. For one, portion sizes are MASSIVE and very value for money. The ingredients are so so fresh and I’ve not had one option that disappointed me. Protein-wise I love their duck and chicken thigh. Sauces are on point too, get the pesto and honey mustard. Sometimes I wish I worked at the CBD area so I can have this more often.
The portions at this place are massive! I used to pass this restaurant daily during my lunch break but it was always super crowded. Finally, my friend ordered lunch for me from this place and saved on so much time by using this app ‘Waittr’. At 12 pm - the collection time he had put - we went to the restaurant and cut the queue to pick up our lunch 😎 The regular bowl is huge and totally worth the price - in fact worth much more than the price.
Kept me full for the whole day and gave me the energy I needed for my workout after work!
I used “Merry50” for $4 off Waitrr app per order

Sous Vide Chicken Breast
Barley & Quinoa
Egg White
Roasted pumpkin
Kimchi Apple
Pesto
Wow they’re really generous with the portion!! Chicken breast is nicely seasoned and not too dry, kimchi apple is crunchy and refreshing.
Enjoyed every component that I chose today! Was a bit skeptical initially as they have undergone another round of price increase with a revamped menu. The smallest option now starts from $10.60. (U.P $9.90)
Surprised to really enjoy this tender salmon, love the soft rosy pink flesh. (top up $2.20) Would have been better if the skin had a better sear and retained its crisp. Got the barley & quinoa for base, which I personally prefer to rice & pasta. They have sweet potato mash too! For sides, I picked the kimchi apple which was crunchy and refreshing, the roasted pumpkin which added a subtle sweetness to the dish and egg white mash! Picked a spicy vinaigrette and tossed my grains & egg whites in them, c’est bon! 😋
[Non-MealPal price $10.90] huge portions! Steak is overdone so too dry for my delicate palate. Generous with the pesto dressing. I love roasted capsicums too. 3.5/5 (4/5 if you like your meat to be well done rather than med rare).
