[CLOSED] Old Street Bak Kut Teh (Tiong Bahru Plaza)

Came here specially to try their BKT and Pig Trotter.
The pork ribs meat was real tender. The plate of Pig Trotter was collagen-rich - lots of collagen with some meat, which is very much what I’d like to have! To thumbs up to that! Very satisfied with both dishes 👍

Set Menu A: Pork Ribs Soup 肉骨茶 You Tiao 油条, Beancurd 豆花 ($11.10++)
Preserved Vegetables 梅菜 ($3.90++)
Combo Mix 综合餐: 3 Ribs, Pig Innards, Tau Kee, Mushrooms, etc ($15.00++)

Soup is peppery which is not my favourite kind (I prefer herbal), but this wasn't overly peppery spicy so that's good! Ordering is done via an iPad built in to the table. Sauces, sliced chilli, chopped garlic are self-service style in the middle of the premises. Free refills served piping hot from a kettle (just gesture nicely to the waitresses).

Overall quite a pleasant dining experience- I would return ☺
