Flower Bread Curry Chicken

A tub of chicken curry in the centre of the ring of bread. The bread was quite soft although messy with lots of sesame seeds. Nice to dip in the curry gravy. The chicken and potato in the curry were quite tender and flavourful.
inspired by the British pie pastry, buttery pastry with the generous ingredients of creamy chicken, potato, mushrooms and carrots.
đź’°$1.60.
đź“ŤAvailable at all Old Chang Kee stores islandwide from today, 6th July 2020.
Wow, this surprise me! Love their toasted bread loaves, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside just like what i love. Very pilowy and most importantly, they serve it warm. Curry chicken is good too, thick curry sauce that goes very well with the bread. Nice curry fragance and they also kindly gave us another bowl of curry sauce at the side for dipping.
Head out to the Old Chang Kee CNY carnival for brunch. Various food and games booth are set up. First booth the moment we entered is this stall that sells laksa and curry chicken. Dry laksa is the first thing that comes to my eye and i definitely have to try. $5 for this bowl, the laksa paste was a tad too saltish for me and not much of the coconut milk taste. But the ingredient given are quite generous. The ingredients are the usual, prawn and fish cake and interestingly, they had chicken as one of the “liaos”.
