Crisp outside and tender inside, coated in a bright sweet‑and‑sour glaze that gave the fish a lively lift.

🦐 Fried Prawn with Marmite Sauce
Coated in a savoury‑sweet marmite glaze that carried the dish even if the prawns leaned more firm than juicy.

🐷 Braised Pork Tendons with Mushroom & Broccoli
Hearty and earthy with tender pork tendons soaking up the braising sauce.

🦀 Crab Meat Fried Rice with Whitebait
Fragrant and well‑done with crab meat for sweetness and crispy whitebait for texture. A little pity it arrived near the end of the meal. We were almost too full for carbs so it ended up as a takeaway dish.

🍑 Peach Gum with Sea Coconut Dessert
Light and refreshing with gentle sweetness from peach gum and sea coconut. A soothing finish after the richness of the feast.

One of the few zichar stalls that cook the prawn version of Hokkien mee on top of the black version. When so, it's usually good, especially the wok hei. This was also the wettest I've eaten. It had a layer of gravy. Rare too were the good prawns and sotong.
