Was quite disappointed that they serve deep fried potato wedges as side dish.
In one corner of Bangsar Shopping Centre is Monte's, seemingly quiet on the outside but bustling inside with those who lunch a little more expensive than others. The Chicken Maryland (RM35) looks to be everyone's favourite, rolled in crumbs and deep fried. I went on a clearer path with Spaghetti Vongole (RM28), al dente pasta dressed with a garlic, chili sauce and clams galore. At first glance, the amount of clams looked underwhelming but towards the end, I was spinning pasta with at least two clams in every mouthful. Service was great with a bun served to quell your hunger but be prepared to wait when lunch hour packs the restaurant with hungry people.
