This is superb! Almost like eating chendol.
It’s good and the barley has got the crunch. Really good!
This is so lovely and heartwarming! Love it!
Established in 1950, this long standing dessert institution has not only weathered turbulent times, but expanded and grown with 10 outlets across Singapore, making them the most accessible Asian dessert brand.
.
Their rendition is pretty good, with a wobbly soft smooth texture to the egg custard pudding, with the rich ginger syrup seeping into pockets of space as you dig in.
.
Each bite is a bright mellow touch of eggy sweet spice flavour.

Somehow their one of a kind Bak Chang is always tasty, even tho I only like nonya bak chang! It’s got yellow beans, like in tau suan, meat, chestnut n mushrooms packed inside. I crave for this every once in a while in non-bak chang season!
I always order matcha red bean snow ice but decided not to be boring and so ordered chendol snow ice for a change! Totally love it! Can add your own desired amount of Gula Melaka too. No regrets!!
