Because of the ongoing pandemic, many hotels have been used as the quarantine facilities for those who came to Singapore from oversea.

Marcello under InterContinental has been closed since last year. So in order to stay open for the business, they has introduced the takeaway service with their grain bowls selection.

The miso chicken bowl comes with soba noodles, miso grilled chicken, kelp, corn and carrot with lemon soba dressing. $18

Surprisingly good quality matcha and you can ask for it without sugar. 😍

🥞🥞🥞 Loved these deliciously fluffy buttermilk pancakes with bananas, whipped cream and walnut crumble from @marcello_sg at @interconsin. Think a lot of plating effort was involved as the pancakes weren’t as hot as we would like. We requested for it to be heated up again but ended up receiving a new stack of pancakes also at a lukewarm temperature. Maybe the plates could be pre-heated next time? At least it tasted good, so thank you Marcello for the yummy pancakes!

Coco nana bowl; satisfying smoothie bowl with granola, almond milk, cocoa nibs and banana for natural sweetness. Too good!

Too much tomatoes. Avocados were too smashed. Skip this dish if you visit here/

Eggs cooked in spicy tomato sauce, feta cheese, fresh herbs, grilled flatbread. Not quite a fan of North-African style brunch but egg shakshuka here was surprisingly good. Wiped everything clean. Would 10/10 come back for this again.
