We were so hungry and gobbled down our food immediately 🤤 I ordered the mixed meats bowl (char siew and roast duck)! Char siew was a bit fatty for my liking but if you like fatty char siew then it would be good for you. Also not pictured is the chee cheong fun (normal) and the signature black pepper London duck bun (we loved this!)
Crispy skin and tender roasted meats. #happybelly #burpple
(S$10.90++)
I like yuzu and I like egg tarts, so I quite enjoyed this! Not sure if this combination works, but it’s certainly interesting. Loved the flaky pastry crust!
$9.80 - for 4 pcs. Love the intense scent of the black truffle. Btw, anything with truffle is major ❤️
A pretty good plate of roast duck noodles at London Fat Duck - would love to return to try out more stuff on the menu:)!
This platter far exceeded my expectations! (Proof that commercialised joints don’t invariably mangle roasts.) The char siew was tender and unstintingly coated with honeyed BBQ sauce. I enjoyed the lightly scorched edges, but some might want it crispier and smokier. The roast pork was equally succulent, interlaced with fat, and quickly won my heart with its brittle golden skin. I’ll be back, just for that satisfying crackle and the juicy hunks of meat.
🏅 9/10 (Char Siew)
🏅 9/10 (Roast Pork)
