It tasted like regular pesto pasta, and didn’t astound me much. I liked the pairing of cheese and pesto though, and the portion was pretty generous!
The ambience was lovely - the outdoor dining area was surrounded by lush greenery and patrons ate under a canopy of leaves. It was also breezy despite the humid weather, and we certainly didn’t feel that we were in Singapore. However, the food fell a little lower than our expectations, given the environment we were in. The beef was overdone and was somewhat tough, and the honey oat burger buns were quite soggy. Maybe we took too long to dig in. The curly fries had a strong resemblance to McDonald’s twisty fries and didn’t exactly amaze us.
Delicious fried chicken nestled between 2 burger buns. Fried to a crisp, with tender and succulent meat.
Got the spicy level 4 with a top up of 50 cents. Very spicy, but so shiok. The blue pea rice was fragrant with hints of coconut, and overall, I enjoyed it!
I absolutely loved how filling the dish was :) The plating was beautiful, and the aesthetic appeal of the dish made me want to dig in. I enjoyed the hummus, which paired so well with the flatbread. It was such a hearty meal even though the food was not served hot.
Crunch falafel patty with lemon yogurt sauce. I love how juicy and crunchy the patty was even though it was meat-less!
Even though it’s a steakhouse, I got the pasta. It was cooked al dente but slightly salty for my liking but overall enjoyable. The portions here are also quite huge!
I loved the inviting interior of the cafe and the service here was wonderful. I built my own pasta using campanile, bird’s eye chilis, white button mushrooms, king oyster mushrooms and pink sauce (tomato cream sauce), which sets me at $15.40. I found that to be pretty affordable for the quality and quantity. The pasta was delicious, cooked al dente with a nice and firm bite. I wished there could be more mushrooms though. I found the pasta to mushroom ratio to be a little too much for me. Overall, it was a pleasant meal — pasta in a fancy place is always a good idea.

This place is a cosy space that is situated at HomeTeam NS @ Bukit Batok. It’s quiet and cosy. The meat is also succulent and tasty, and makes for an intimate gathering.
We ordered an Iberico Pork Tomahawk [$50++], which was pricey but very worth the price. The pork was a kind of melt-in-your-mouth kind of delicious. The roasted rum infused pineapple was very juicy and sweet, together with the pistachio crust and an accompanying sauce which melded wonderfully with the nutty taste of pistachio.
We ordered a Snapper Fillet [$28++] which has sautéed red wine oyster mushroom and fried sliced ginger. The snapper was tender, highlighting the freshness of the fish.
I found this a little salty for my liking because I’m inclined towards sweeter things in general. The meat was tender, not too hard, and well marinated. It was also cut nicely for easy consumption. I quite like this, but to be honest, I find this a little too big for my personal consumption.
