The ๐๐ฎ๐๐ง ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ซ๐ฎ๐๐๐ข๐ง ($๐) has the crispy flaky exterior youโd expect from a good cruffin, but the interior was a bit too greasy for my liking. Also, the flavour of the yuan tang filling just wasnโt there. Leaning heavier on the coffee side, it lacked a strong tea aroma, and tasted rather one-note.

The gravy was delightfully creamy and nutty, a good amount of sweetness coming through without being too cloying. It has a light fragrance, preventing the sauce from being too overpowering. I love how it wasnโt oily or watery, and the sauce coated every strand of the thin vermicelli noodle.
I really appreciated how generous he was with the ingredients, consisting of cockles, lean pork slices, cuttlefish, prawn and kang kong.

Even without considering the delivery factor, the gravy of the ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐๐๐ ๐ฅข was top notch! Unlike most other places where the gravy gets too watery after mixing, this gravy stayed perfectly gooey and sticky til the last drop ๐คค
Also, theyโre not kidding about the spiciness ๐ฅต My weak spice tolerance failed me, but I still kept finding myself reaching for more

Their ๐๐๐ค๐ฌ๐ ๐ถ came with a generous amount of ingredients! A good amount of cockles, tau pok and fish cake. However, while containing all the components of a good laksa, I think it could do with a richer gravy.

I can see why the ๐๐๐ ๐๐ข๐๐ฆ ๐ is their signature dish! The thick gravy has a deep and rich flavour. I loved the pronounced nuttiness and the rich creamy flavour from the fresh coconut milk! Had a nice old school taste ๐ฅฐ

Their drinks really set them apart from other stalls, theyโre unique and I would say, distinctively better. Their traditional drinks are done really well, especially their coffee. I picked up a ๐๐จ๐ฉ๐ข ($๐.๐๐), opting for the Siew Dai (50% sugar), which i recommend since their original tends to be a little sweet. The coffee was rich and aromatic, with a deep flavour you donโt find in your usual hawker kopi! I havenโt tried many of their modern drinks but their ๐๐ฎ๐๐ง ๐๐๐ง๐ ($๐.๐๐) was delicious! The ๐๐ก๐๐ข ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ค ๐๐๐ ($๐.๐๐) is very sweet, as with their other drinks, but you can pick your sugar level, and it was nonetheless what youโd expect from a good thai milk tea! Their portions, even for the regular size, are very generous!
On the other hand, I wouldnโt say that their food is something to shout about. The ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ก๐ ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ค ๐๐จ๐๐ฌ๐ญ ($๐.๐๐ for the set) is a unique twist on the usual kaya toast, with a matcha spread. It was smooth and milky, with a rather subtle matcha flavour, and I think that the flavours were overall too subdued. Itโs just not flavourful enough, a novelty item that I wouldnโt prefer over any kaya toast. Their ๐๐๐ฒ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ญ๐๐ซ ๐๐จ๐๐ฌ๐ญ was alright, but my complaint is that the toasts were rather soft, lacking a crisp bite.
