We had Torta della Nonna and "Biscotti" for dessert, both nutty desserts that we enjoyed too! ๐
For pastas we had the Cappellacci di Zucca Ferraresi con Burro e Salvia, which was unique and I liked the butter and sage flavours, and the Rigatoni Lisci con Sugo alla Norma which was more simple but the flavours were good too.
Visited the highly raved @forma.sg after many months of waiting and attempting to book a table. For antipasti, we had Culatello con Gnocco Fritto which were crispy with both the sweet and savoury balanced nicely.
Came back to Tipo's Pizzeria and got to try a bit of most categories on the menu! We had a No Way Josฤ Pizza which has alfredo topped with beef chorizo, pepperoni, sweet corn salsa, pickled jalapeรฑos, feta and garlic. This was a rather unique combination of flavours and textures, I enjoyed this along with their thin pizza crust! The Wild Mushroom Pasta featured cep and swiss brown mushrooms with cream and sage butter. This was tasty but better shared as the flavour was rather one dimensional to me. The Fat Wings have garlic and rosemary stuffing in boneless chicken wing served with harissa pomodoro, these were crispy and the texture was good but I feel that the flavours were not delivered as promised in the description and the harissa pomodoro could have had a lot more spice!
There was a long waiting time in between our items causing us to feel full faster with all the rest in between but generally the pizzas here are good and it's a nice place to eat at!
@meatandgreetsg has moved to Joo Chiat recently operating on a takeout and delivery basis with their pastas and sandwiches! I had the duck confit pasta and it was flavourful with pasta cooked al dente with tender duck meat. It was a bit on the salty side for me but I still enjoyed it nevertheless. Their smoked meats will be available when their smoker arrives so do check out their Instagram account for updates!

Finally tried @tangled.pasta when I was on staycation in the area! They serve freshly made pasta and you can choose to DIY your own pasta dishes too. I got a Pinky Promise which has beetroot pasta cooked in mentaiko sauce with salmon and ebiko. The sauce was ok the creamy side and the portion was quite generous too! I had this with the honey soy chicken pops but they were a bit dry and was just like normal fried chicken ๐ Will be back to try the other pastas!๐
The Cacio e Pepe was made with chitarra pasta with different cheeses such as pecorino romano and parmigiano reggiano along with sarawak pepper to give that peppery kick. The pasta was al dente with a balance of the creamy and peppery flavours ๐ I'll be back to try the other items!!
Walked past @santis.sg after our meal at @sarnies.sg once and had to go back to try it when I saw how delicious the food looked ๐คค We had the Piรฑa Piรฑa which has San marzano tomatoes, pickled grilled pineapples, spanish chorizo, fior di latte (a cheese similar to mozzarella), chilli oil. This was delicious and flavourful but we felt that it could have been more spicy as it was labelled spicy on the menu ๐
I've been having @gopizza.sg quite a bit recently because of they have pizzas and set meals for one so it's easy to get my pizza fix! My favourite pizza flavour is pepperoni and they have yummy sides like cheese sticks and cheesy garlic bread too! The fire chicken flavour was pretty good as well but I'm not that much of a fan because there's too much sauce on it that made it very messy ๐
We also got the Bruschetta Cherry Tomato, Garlic & Oregano for contrasting flavours and the serving size was a lot bigger than we expected. The bread was very tasty and there were so many cherry tomatoes served with this too.
@latteriamozzarellabar is one of my favourite Mac & Cheese places and I'll be back for more cheese related dishes in the future too! The Mac and Cheese was served in a pumpkin which helped it to be kept warm for a rather long time. The cheese was tasty and this wasn't too creamy too. It's good for sharing as it is quite a large portion as well.
The Burratina was served with sourdough toast, onion chutney and pesto, making it a good combination of flavours and textures ๐
