More meat, more meat, more meat! They serve thick slices of delicious unlimited pork / beef / lamb, huge variety of veggies and mushroom from the food bar, noodles, meatballs and tofus, you can also order some fresh fried chicken karaage from the waiters. They have a few types of soup for you to choose (we tried miso, kimchi, clear soup, mala), kimchi soup is my favourite out of all. For lunch each person is only RM34.80 and students get 10% off if you show your student id.
Thai minced pork pizza (RM15.80), the thai basil flavor is not as pronounce, but the minced is pretty salty and flavourful, I just don't taste the thai.
The signature salted egg yolk butter crab (RM168 for 2 XXL size crab) is packed full of flavour, such a guilty pleasure. Dipping some deep fried man tou into the salty and creamy sauce is the best thing ever. Another highlight is their lala soup (RM28). The soup is very refreshing, gingery and slightly spicy from the peppers, you can really taste the freshness of seafood from the stock.
They have offer a variety of dishes on their menu but you can also choose your own ingredient at the bar and they cook it for you. They have different level of spiciness to suit different people's preferences, from non spicy like garlic, to super spicy. The one I had was little spicy and it is already pretty spicy (i have a pretty good tolerance on spicy food). Besides, they also offered sauces like salted egg yolk and fermented beancurd. They are on a pricey side but overall is deicious and good for big group of friends and family.
If you are a melt in your mouth char siew kind of person, this place is a must! (RM8.50) Super fragrant oily rice cooked perfectly which the rice is not too soft or too hard, their perfectly cooked bbq char siew has just the right ratio of fats and meat, slightly sweet, very savoury. Their roasted chicken is a little let down as the meat is on the hard and dry side, but overall i would say its a decent meal.
The very famous char siew fried rice in SS15 (RM7.50). There's nothing much to shout out for a simple plate of fried rice, I heard it was not as good as how it used to be anymore. A little on the drier side, but their belancan chilli is sooooo good and go perfectly well with the rice i really enjoyed it.
One of their signature burger (RM15 + RM7.50 for fries and refillable drink), juicy pork patty with slice of cheddar cheese, lettuce and crispy onion. The crispy onion is a very interesting add on to the burger which adds such a nice crunch and flavour that make this burger really delicious. The surrounding is very chill and good for having a small gathering with friends and family to enjoy a good burger.
Their sukiyaki hot pot (RM21.90) is me and my family's favourite pot. Huge serving of vegetables including soybean sprouts, cabbage, mushroom, pork shoulder, etc is included in the set with a side of carb of your choice (yee mee, rice, vermicelli noodle, instant noodle). Super flavourful and savoury japanese sukiyaki broth, when the ingredients are cooked, all the essences of veggies and meat adds another depth of flavor to the broth. They also have a variety of sauces at their sauce bar which you can diy your own sauce to suit your own palate.
There is nothing much I can describe about this meal but super worth the wait! Their tomato based soup is my favourite one, with a huge selection of ingredients that you can order and add into your pot. Personal recommendation: must order their frozen tofu (凍豆腐), flying noodle, pork shoulder and prawn ball (蝦滑). The service there is extraordinary, unlimited snacks, fruits and drinks for you while waiting in the queue. The price range is about rm60 per person which to me is not bad at all.
I am not a carbonara person until I tried their spaghetti carbonara. Super creamy yet not jelak at all, with generous serving of pork belly. Their teriyaki chicken pizza is not bad too, huge pieces of chicken on every slice. The food here is very affordable and the quality is much better than many other food and bar restaurant. They even have live band during 9pm-12am, that can be a plus or negative point because once the live band started, it is so loud that you can barely talk in the restaurant. So just enjoy your glass of wine or pint of beer with your loved ones!
A well known dim sum place in Puchong. For me, their food is alright, nothing much to shout out. But their quality and price point are much better than those high end dim sum restaurant in my opinion. It's a really nice place to eat and hang out with your friends or family.
The variety of ban chan in Da Sa Rang is insane! From fresh kimchi, candied sweet potato, spinach, to mini pancakes, apple salad and more. Everything is very delicious I would say, and my favourite ban chan from there must be the fermented rolled kimchi. I love the slightly sour taste caused by the fermentation, very addictive! Try adding some of the kimchi on top of your BBQ meat and veggie wrap, you will be blessed with kimchi god!
