There are three exclusive dishes to Ka-Soh at Greenwood Avenue â Prawn Noodle Soup ($16), Seafood KL Hokkien Mee ($9, $14), and Oatmeal Pork ($19, $29). While the Prawn Noodle Soup ($16) seemed to be pricey, the generous portion with many slices of fresh snakehead fish and three tiger prawns made it looked all worthwhile.
The base was milky and mild, closer to flavours of fish noodle soup rather than prawn stock which would be sweeter.
For mains, I had Pasta Vongole e Bottarga ($25), which features al dente linguine infused with the natural sweetness of fresh clams, umami of bottarga (cured fish roe) and aroma of garlic and olive oil. Love how flavourful and delicious this is!
The star of the night. Something different from the usual ramen I had as this is a âdippingâ ramen. The rich seafood broth is where you dip the al dente ramen noodle, quite tasty albeit a little salty. The flavored ramen egg is yummy. Pork slice has this smoked taste, tender to bite. Not forgetting the tiger which is egg white printed on the nori, this is rather special.
The fried milk makes an interesting milk custard dessert. Abit like the insides of a vanilla cream puff. Except its warm and has a fried wanton outer skin.
The signature ginger pudding is omg so so nice and soothing. It has a wobbly texture that so soft and heavdnly. For this I will come back again. And also because I don't where else I can find a similar dessert in spore. How sad. This place is far and I take public transport.
Tried @cafecocosg's choux puffs recently and I like how they have a slightly crisp choux au craquelin along with a wide variety of flavours. My favourites were Earl Grey Lavender and Salted Caramel Espresso for their well balanced flavours.
Irish Roast Duck Drumstick ($14++): switching things up from the seafood galore, why don't you try this beautifully plated Irish Duck đŠ? The meat was pretty tender! đ
Fill your weekend with the wonderful smells of cakes, bakes and coffee. @pantler has reopened yesterday at River Valley with a bigger and spacious place.
Be greeted by an array of beautifully crafted cakes, which are available in slices and whole. Hard-pressed to choose, we ended up with three liquor-free cakes:
⹠Yatsura ($9.50), one of their signature, made of hazelnut dacquoise, dark chocolate ganache and crunchy hazelnut feuilletine.
âą Citron Blanc ($9.50), Fromage Blanc with lemon confit.
âą Nagomi ($9.50), our favourite of the trio. Fragrant Earl Grey Mousse accompanied by tangy bergamot and caramelised almonds
Thereâs few options for you to choose to include in the omelette, we gotten the minced chicken. The Thai style made the omelette crispy on top but fluffy at the bottom with the egg.
It was a bit too oily but definitely worth trying.
read about their more exotic coffee drinks but went for the traditional mocha. not my usual, but this was delicious with a good amount of caffeine. đđ»
Come during off-peak hours to get a seat at this tiny cafe (all al fresco!) at Serene Centre. Request for a water bowl for your pooch while you fill up on their creamy Scrambled Eggs ($12) topped with furikake, served on a slice of buttered sourdough toast â extra yummy with a side of avocado ($2). Otherwise, their creamy yet light House Ricotta Tartine ($12) served with roasted tomatoes, baby spinach and basil should do the trick. For a snack, opt for a simple Sourdough Toast ($6) with butter, salt and pepper. P.s Get an extra dollop of jam for just a dollar.

Nestled within the residential estate of Fabre Heights, Faber Brunch Club shares the same space as Gelato Labo and Glass Roasters Coffee. Paid them a visit on a Sunday afternoon 2pm and there wasnât any crowd - perfect for a quiet, cozy and chill Sunday brunch.
Pictured here are the Big Bass Chips ($22) and Seafood Mentaiko Linguine ($24). Iâd say it is slightly above average prices for cafe food but I guess itâs still worth it for the quality. Prawns and Clams were really fresh and the bass was fried to perfection! We also had a cup of flat white latte and the coffee was really fragrant!
Overall, had a pleasant experience here and would come again.
