The family fest consisted of 8 pieces, 4 types of fish, served 2 types each. The fish were haddock, Atlantic cod, snapper and dory, with each fish giving you a distinct experience. The haddock was lean and firm, the Atlantic cod gave a fuller mouthfeel, the snapper being somewhat in the middle and the dory with its firm buttery texture. This dish is served with a 4 types of batter which are original, lemon and herb, onion and garlic and chilli lemon, giving you a total of 8 flavours with 4 types of fish. The dish also comes with a side of minty mushy peas, baked beans, coleslaw, mash and garlic butter rice, and not to forget, the fluffiest and crispiest chips you will find around town. Sunday roast is a traditional British cuisine dish served on Sundays consisting of roast beef, lamb, chicken or pork, served with a side of boiled broccoli and carrots, a Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes.

The Sunday roast here consisted of roast pork, served with a side of broccoli, carrots, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, gravy and apple sauce. The pork had a tender crackling, which was complemented by the apple sauce. The Yorkshire puddings came in a serving of 2, which when doused with the gravy, gave it a nice mouthfeel. The sides were decent, with the fluffy roast potatoes a great addition to the dish. One of the better Sunday roasts around.

Nasi lemak is a Malay dish consisting of coconut rice served with egg, sambal, cucumber, anchovies and peanuts with the occasional fried chicken. The nasi lemak burger is served with a thick cut of chicken breast ayam berempah, a Malay style deep fried curry and turmeric chicken, served with a sunny side up egg, cucumber slices, sambal dip, anchovies and peanuts, and curry leaves fries. The chicken breast was extremely succulent, with each bite causing little bursts of juicy chicken flavour. Definitely try this just for the chicken, although the chicken breast on its own is completely worth it.

The beef Sunday Roast at Jarrod and Rawlins is served with 3 slices of roast beef, two roasted spuds, a burnt onion, steamed broccoli and carrot, and two large Yorkshire puddings with a side of gravy and honey mustard.

The slices of beef were tender and fully flavoured and is highly recommended. Nice burnt onion. The potatoes were one of the most perfect seen on a roast, with crispy and rough surfaces for that extra burst for catching flavour, and the insides were fluffy as a warm pillow. The highlight however, were the large Yorkshire pudding with a buttery crust which was soft on the inside, really delivering on the crisp factor. The gravy brought it all together.

The Triple Stack Burger is filled with three 100g beef burger patties layered with cheddar, beef bacon, mushrooms, sautéed onions, ketchup mustard and a fried egg, with a side of fries or sweet potato crisps.

The beef patties were flavourful with a nice mix of lean meat to fat ratio. This ensures that the meat is springy. The beef bacon was a nice little umami touch. The fried egg made a great sauce when you cut down on all three layers of beef patties with a sharp knife forming a pool with the runny egg yolk.
