The all meat platter is good for 2, meat are well flavoured and yummy when paired with the Thai Maggie! Also tried 2 other unique flavours: Sour Cream Pork Belly ($3.90) & Mala Chicken ($3.20), worth trying when ordering ala carte dishes

White Beehoon - $12
·
A tasty plate of white beehoon that’s suitable for sharing between 3 person. It’s not the watery type but still remained slightly moist. The taste of wokhei is always satisfying. The dish is showered with meat slices and fresh seafood, completed with egg and veg. Remember to drizzle the dish with lime for a more refreshing flavour

Satay Bee Hoon - $4
·
Comprising of your standard must have ingredients like cuttlefish, sliced pork and even cockles. The sauce is the soul of the dish. It’s an intertwine of spicy and sweet, which is super shiok! One of my favourite traditional local dish definitely

Claypot Hokkien Mee - $15 for 3Pax
·
This shop is quite famous, even non foodies knows about it. It’s quite a standard claypot hokkien mee, I find it not that flavourful so I was pairing it with their chilli for an extra boost of flavour. I like their crispy roast pork slices, and their fresh seafood which ain’t overcooked. Friendly price tag, great as a no-frills bowl of claypot hokkien mee to enjoy with a group of friends or family. There’s a neighbouring stall which sells curry fish head which have a fair share of supporters too

Half Steamed Chicken w 4 Chicken Rice Ball - $16
·
Maybe abit pricy for a half chicken but their chicken is smooth and tender, portion is huge too, especially their rice. Ordering 2 traditional chicken rice ball per pax is more than sufficient. It cost 50 cents per ball. But strangely the soup they gave is peanut soup instead of the usual chicken soup, so there’s slight disappointment. It’s been two decades since I last ate an chicken rice ball. It’s always great to see traditional cuisine carried down

Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng Berempah - $12.8
·
Coconut rice, chicken leg, ikan bilis, peanuts, cucumber, fried egg & sambal. The coconut rice is very fragrant and fluffy, 粒粒分明. I love their fried chicken also, which is so tender, flavourful and nicely marinated. The sides are rather standard but their sambal is quite spicy with a kick, different from the usual sweet nasi lemak chilli, remind them to serve it separately if you don’t eat spicy. This bib gourmand winning high SES dish is tasty but comes at a slightly steep price, but definitely worth a try enjoy the flavours yourself

Rojak - $4
·
The rojak consist of pineapples, cucumber, turnip, tau pok, you tiao & bean sprouts. Drizzled with generous amount of rojak sauce and crispy peanut bits. The tau pok and you tiao are toasted before tossing, giving the crunch that I love. But the dish was slight too wet and has nothing too special that will standout from other rojak stall elsewhere

Stir-Fried Hokkien Mee - RM$9
·
Not glamorous, but very local, a lot of Wok Hei, with a savoury seafood taste in very mouth. Noodle is alike to Udon, thick and chewy. Comes with a couple meat slices, fish cakes and prawns. just feels like home cooked food. If worry about the seafood, can always order other hawker style food, definitely one will win your heart

Traditional Rojak - $4
·
Comes with the standard rojak combination, the fruits and vegetables mix. But what I like is that the prawn paste isn’t too strong in flavour, I could still taste the sweetness of the pineapple, the fragrance of peanut power. What I love the most is the You Tiao is toasted till crispy and slightly burned, giving the dish an additional crunch and flavour. Just a simple & classic local treat

Beef Brisket Noodle - $7.50
·
Comes with thin yellow noddles which is not what I love but pairing with the chilli makes it more acceptable. The beef brisket is not that soft, still retains that tender texture. I would hope there’s a couple tendon added in to my bowl of Beef Brisket Noodle. A small bowl of beef soup is also given

Roasted Chicken for 2 pax, with 2x rice - $9
·
According to be Hawker, I was given the premium part of the meat, despite I didn’t requested for, and was charged a higher price that of the menu. The meat is tender that’s for sure, the roasted chicken and 2 plate of rice have a savoury taste, but overall not worth the $9 I paid in total. Remember be very specific when order to prevent a mishap
