[Muslim-Owned] This was a tough place to find! It’s nestled in a building that has a collection of addresses that begin with Benoi Road. This was 25 Benoi Road; it was wedged deep in the Tuas industrial areas, and it took me 30 minutes of driving just to get to it. I almost gave up on finding the place tbh! 😵
The food is really value-for-money ($4.50) that’s for sure. Not too smitten by its taste, however. It’s mainly because the salted egg sauce was too watery for my liking, though I did like its amount of spiciness. 🤑 My lips felt like they were burning, but I admit I’m a little bit of a masochist when it comes to spicy food. 🤯
I guess I wouldn’t go out of my way to get this again, but I’m glad to have tried it once. Maybe opt for their zi char or their Butter Cream chicken instead! (6.9/10)
Lunch / 31 July 2018: rice bowl featuring aromatic rice topped basil beef, onsen egg, mushrooms, apple jelly with a side of salted egg sauce and lots of amusement coming from the young enterprising hawker-students who really behave like bengs. Worth a try!
When I was scouring Whampoa Market looking for something to eat. This dish caught my eye. (There's something about those golden crumbs and the slightly yellowish basmati rice that make it look so scrumptious.) There was a number of people having it so it really piqued my curiosity.
When I arrived at the Malay stall, the owner was busily packing about a hundred styrofoam packets as someone made a huge bulk order. Hmmm. Must be popular.
I ordered the ginger fried chicken rice. The garlic and ginger tones were subtle. The fried skin was crispy while the chicken meat was still tender and juicy. The best part would be dipping it in the spicy soy sauce and chilli. You ought to try it!
Damn yummy! #bumbu #restaurant #nofilter #nonedited #collage #food #foodporn #sgfoodie #day26 #100happydays
The usual tough cut stewed till tender with turmeric, five spices and lots of shallots. The caramelized sweetness from the shallots and savory based soup brought comfort to my soul! At first I would expect that they will be slightly chewy BUT they were incredibly soft. It might be a little salty for some. Best to eat with rice.

A really simple dish, but so so good! The rich was super tasty and flavourful, with loads of fresh seafood. And of course, it never hurts to have it wrapped in a yummy omelette. But the best part was that the dish was garnished with fried ikan bilis. This gave it a crunchy texture that made each bite even more satisfying. It also added an extra saltiness, but not too overpowering like in the case of salted fish. This is a good dish to order when you're here!
🍟 Shoe string fries blanketed over with home made salted egg sauce, buttered cereal and spring onions. Pretty addictive.
Chicken skin is thin yet tender and crispy. Dipping it in the potato gravy sauce makes it heavenly!
Firstly, greeted with such a friendly waitress. Secondly, waiting time was not too long. And lastly, 9/10 for the fusion food. Though its abit pricey but with excellent service and scrumptious food, and also big portion,it's worth every penny. 😊
This place is supposedly to have the best biryani, and so why am I eating naan? Because it's one of the best in singapore (as according to my tastebud). It's the lightest and fluffiest naan I have ever tasted. Usually the naan is on the very doughy side, this naan is crispy one one side and soft on the other. And it's thin, not the usual thickness of a naan. So yummy you can have it on its own.
