As part of Chinese New Year menu, they have developed a 4-course CNY Menu available from 1 Jan to 29 Feb 2016 at only $48++ per pax! It also offers cocktail pairing for each course at an additional of $40++ per pax!
The highlight of all was Sea of Fortune, 年年有余 because fish is always the star when it comes to CNY dishes. The salmon steak was topped with a slap of briny salmon roe and laid on passion fruit sauce. They also included the seeds of the passion fruit that was unique, as the crunchiness of the seeds will tempt your taste buds. Sweetness of the fruity sauce was also complemented with thin slices of green apple and graperfruit.
This is paired with Opulent Prosperity, 招財進寶 with a whiskey base, biters and sprinkle of citrus sugar, seemingly similar to Old Fashioned. Love the citrus sugar that further smoothened the whiskey!

To celebrate the festive season in December, Fish and Co. Singapore came up with a sumptuous Christmas platter ($59.90 for 2), from 18 November 2015 to 3 January 2016. Their latest fishery is spotted at Bugis+!
We tried the Grilled White Fish with Ebiko, Shrimp & Clam Aglio Olio as well as Jolly Seafood Fare for 2!
The seafood fare consists a luminous pot of variety of seafood including prawns, mussels, fish and scallops atop their chilli cream mushroom sauce. Other than the seafood feast, there are also beef bacon, small chunks of chicken chorizo and assorted vegetables, accompanied with a side plate of paella rice. I must say the amount is really huge and it can feed more than 2 pax!
Do note that the Christmas platter also comes with 2 mocktails and a warm chocolate cake.

I have always been a fan of their Truffle Yakiniku, despite mixed reviews saying that it is overrated. Seriously for the price and the generous amount of beef with a light hint of truffle taste, there is nothing to complain about it. Particularly at $19 with foie gras, the huge slap literally melts in my mouth! Thinly crisp on the exterior, the softness of the interior was bursting with alluring aroma.
And my friend was so in love with their rice that she finished her own portion + half of mine 😂

Chargrilled with the basic seasoning of salt and pepper, the medium rare steak was sealed with the flavourful juices with a classic charred surface.
It came with a high fat content and it could take a while for you to chew the meat.

Featuring the 45 days home dry aged corn fed US Prime Traditional Fiorentina Steak ($22 per 100gm, minimum order of 800gm) here.
The succulent steak (otherwise also known as Porterhouse) was accompanied with well-rested juices within it, and has a better meat-to-fat balance. The crusty surface char of the bone was probably the best part, with smoky and robust aroma of the scrumptious meat.
Beef lovers will definitely be satisfied with the premium and quality bone-in cuts as well as the tender goodness of the dry-aged cuts.

The only dissatisfaction I had was perhaps at least 150 grams were made up of lumpy fats.
But thanks to the Entertainer App, I can get to enjoy 1-for-1 mains!

can't help but to miss the taste of this palate-pleasing squashed tomato. so visually appealing and lip smacking at first taste. can you imagine the tomato juice bursting in your mouth together with the juicy wagyu beef patty as you have the first bite?

deconstruct the burger and I was caught by surprise with the squashed tomato right on top of the patty. brimming with freshness from their farm, the juices exploded with both sweetness and sourness in my mouth! really a genius combination with the meat patty which heightened the savory component. they even infused the bun with tomato sauce!
the wagyu beef was also seared with all the flavourful juices with a charred layer. a fresh twist with the squashed tomato!

say YAY to two wings for bringing their second branch closer to me and more accessible!
40 minutes wait, comparable to the 45 minutes wait I had in the first branch. ask me if it is worth the wait for an impatient person like me? hell yes.
need I say more? chicken wings was so big with really crispy and not overly-oily skin, with their unbeatable marinated meat. pair it with a pint of beer and it is perfect!

the cheapest steak I have ever had in Singapore! served medium rare and marinated with black pepper and pinch of salt. luscious steak with more lean and tender meat than fats.
say yay to a new place to chill out with live band and good food + cheap beers!
