Having Gibraltar instead of flat white I usually have since they don’t have alternative for milk option, so decided to give it a try with something not commonly seen in most cafe. Love the Gibraltar they offered! Not too strong for me with nice nutty flavour, goes pretty well with the milk.
Was here on a rainy day so was recommended for roti jean on all day brunch which is available only on Friday and Saturday so decided to give it a try. The tomato flavour is very strong and is very heart-warming when you have it during a rainy days. Can’t really taste the flavour of other ingredients like avocado, onion, potato and french beans (?) but they all add different texture to the tomato sauce. Feel like drinking tomato soup and having it together with bread! Not bad but i may give sandwich a try next time which looks tempting too.
Ragu on Ribbons ($15) is a wonderful slurpy pappardelle dish with a hearty beef & pork ragu. I loved how the tomato based sauce is well-balanced & not too acidic. I'd order this again but perhaps not too often, as the portion is quite small. I'm also curious about the other pasta they have on the menu, so I might get that instead the next time 😉

The Hot Butt Sub ($13) was enjoyable! Unfortunately my picture looks more like an caramelised onion ring sandwich.. But trust me, the Cubano pork hind is the real MPV here. The jalapeño aioli was only a little bit spicy, which made this sandwich extra delicious.
Comes with a side of salad or fries - the salad has a tangy vinaigrette, & is a great contrast in texture & flavour with the carb-heavy sandwich.

I enjoy a solid cup of coffee - by that, I mean very strong flavours, sometimes without milk, but most of the time with. Having said that, I'm not a coffee connoisseur, so I will refrain from trying to describe coffee using words that aren't in my dictionary.
I can, however, describe the Gibraltar ($4.50) we ordered - it has less milk than your regular latte, which is totally up my alley. I did enjoy my cuppa here as much as I did the friendly service. Keep it up guys! They have a few drip coffee options as well which I am keen to try next time.
Also worthy to note: You have to place your order at the cashier before you get seated. Lessens the chances of people fighting over a choped table, I suppose = 👍

angus beef, bacon & onion jam, sharp cheddar, horseradish & pommery, house pickle on ciabatta
Really enjoyed my meal, the sandwich was very tasty and flavorful, freshly prepare upon order, love the juicy medium rare sliced beef most. A cafe that serve good quality coffee and food, definitely coming back to try other dishes.
