🍴Came for the overflowing ikura don and glad to say that, along with the rest of the omakase lived up to expectations. We left highly stuffed from the 19-courses and would say the Japanese meal was highly value-for-money.
The ikura was fresh, juicy, and delightful pops of umami. Marinated in their own special sweet sauce and dashi, it wasn’t too rich or salty, allowing one to enjoy it to the fullest.
Other items include
- Assorted appetizers
- Fresh assorted sashimi ✨
- Prawn tempura & salmon in radish broth
- Oyster and millet wheat gluten grilled with miso glaze ✨
- A5 wagyu beef shabu. First experience of soy milk based broth and enjoyed the creamy and slightly umami flavour but found it to slightly overshadow the natural beef goodness
- 5 types of sushi + unagi handroll
- Miso soup
- Black sesame ice cream sandwiched in a crisp and light rice puff. Distinct sesame flavour without being too rich/ sweet, a great sweet end to wrap up the meal ✨
⚠️ The promo price of $99 is limited to 5pm and 5.30pm seatings on weekdays.

Pretty good, the monako shell is abit too thin, and the ice cream is abit too cold
The chocolate for the happy bday msg is not too bad actually
Overall: I expected a Japanese place in terms of the overall experience but that's not what I got, so it's not exactly my thing. Decent food at a reasonable price, nothing special so not particularly recommended
Idk the jap name but I think it's gamtae, better than your run of the mill stuff for sure, I'm guessing it's cos of the seaweed
Their signature.
Their ikura is not the best quality, there's this underlying mild bitterness and it's somewhat fishy too. So I couldn't even finish 3 scoops. The couple beside us got about 10 scoops each, and let's just say the greed didn't serve them well, they were struggling in that course as we were leaving(so after we finished our dessert alr)
To be honest I didn't expect the clientele to affect me so much, but it really did. The whole Singaporean cast meant we really saw a lot of funny things, from people only eating the neta and leaving the shari completely untouched, to arriving 40mins late for an omakase, and being so greedy with the ikura.
This is the extra course compared to the omakase set
Quite a lot of uni, it really fills your mouth. Overpowers the negitoro completely though, but I imagine some people are completely fine with that
