First time I’m leaving a review in the middle of a meal.
Won’t recommend the buffet at all, have to get the staff in order to order the food. Some of my food didn’t come at all, food serve takes up to 30 mins so you might want to order more right from the staff.
Wanted to order a second round, the staff acknowledged me but didn’t come at all - waited 10 mins. Took them 1 hour into dinner for my first round of food to be served, and I didn’t order a lot either.
The guy staff is very friendly but shop seems terribly understaffed and not systematic at all. Food isn’t worth the price if you talk about quality. Quantity is a problem too due to the speed.
Asked 2 staff for hot tea refill, 20 mins later still nothing. Had to take the cups to the counter to ask for tea.
🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♂️ Feast all you can at Kushi Japanese buffet at Thomson. I’m surprised to spot white tuna sashimi offered at Kushi! Love the crunchy texture with a bit of savoury taste! No additional soy sauce required for me 😋 Some of the must try dishes are pitan tofu, kaarage, salmon head, garlic fried rice, California salad and tempura. .

Standard buffet at S$28.80.

Went for the premium buffet at 59.90++ per pax. Tad exp but the quality of food is so good and service was great!! I dont really like raw oyster but i actually had 4 of them! It was so fresh :))
Hotpot consisting of Seafood items, vegetables and Beef. The luscious broth was made tastier by the prawns and meats tossed in, a good balance of meats and vegetables. Mind you, this pot of goodness was addictive but filling.

Kushi moved from Windsor Hotel, MacPherson to Hotel Royal, Newton, and is now back at MacPherson.
This assortment of very fresh, almost-bouncy fleshed Sashimi slices awaited us with its saccharine tenderness, putting our palates to an unbearable pleasure of taste paradise. Raw fish lovers would love this treat, and we had a second helping thereafter. See how thick the slices of quality Sashimi are?
The location had changed but their food was still as Good.
The fat from the fatty tuna literally melted in the mouth. The prawns were so sweet. Other than this place, I had not tried such quality sashimi in a Japanese Buffet. All of these for less than $70.
