Not just the ordinary ondeh ondeh but QQ ondeh ondeh made with sweet potatoes and filled with flavour bursting gula meleka.
Just 2 dollars for a box of 4 plump ondeh ondeh.
So glad to get my ondeh ondeh fix here today 🥰.
A traditional Teochew dumpling that steamed with crystal like chewy skin, filled with chives and dried shrimps.
One of the Nyonya kuih featuring a semi-soft and chewy texture.
Was here for lunch and saw they still have lots of kueh for selling, decided to grab some of them back for tea snack.
The ang ku kueh was made in turtle shape with generous filling inside.
Didn't like this at all. Hae bi hiam here is the super dry and powdery kind, which isn't a problem in itself but the kueh was way too thick. And I doubt it's a one-off, probably required to hold the hae bi hiam in.
Never seen this before and I think this might be his own innovation. Friend mentioned it tastes like something kids eat and after thinking about it, I have to concur. It's soft jelly w sugar. Exactly what you expect to taste
