This is the JEM outlet of the famous Koung’s Wantan Mee from Geylang. Even their original stall pales in comparison with others so one does not expect wonders in this new branch. Their char siew is dry and chewy. The noodles not really al dente and the chilli sauce is bland without the heat one expects. Even the lard bits taste expired.
Not coming back.
Soup is beautifully cooked. When I drank the soup, I remembered my sick girlfriend and she should drink it too, but she recovered already. Maybe next time bring for her!
🍜Springy noodles, I like their char siew as it has crispy and char taste at edge.
A heart warming, delightful lunch makes my day 😊
微焦酥香的外皮,软嫩可口的内在,就像多面性的你。弹性的面条,包裹着酱汁,就像工作时的你。
一碗面,看到你自己。

The springy egg noodle tossed in their speciality sauce, the char char siew not dry and thicker and the wanton filling is quite generous.
Dont forget to order their ngoh hiang.
💰$4.8/$5.8 for dry Wanton noodle.
