Koufu (Square 2)

Affordable for Novena anyway 😜. Within Koufu at novena square. Have not tried the beef but have enjoyed most of my meals here. This chicken chop was grilled w a crispy char skin, their spring chicken is yummy too. Ingredients are fresh and it’s an above average western food in hawker setting

From Loh Nam Tai
叉烧烧肉饭
Flavourful sauce drizzle over thick cut of roast meat.
Fluffy fragrant rice.
Yummy!

From Koufu
豆萱
Classic slow boiled mung bean sweet dessert.
With cut fried fritters dough.
Yummy for a day like this.

✨Expectations: Dining like a Queen everyday, indulging in all the good food

Spinach has always been my usual order at caifan stalls 💚 High in iron & vitamins, it is also my best bet at loading up loads of good fibre & essential nutrients from the dark leafy greens! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Tau Kee (Beancurd skin) is awesome with porridge or with rice! 🤤🤤🤤 Having absorbed the essence of the gravy they were braised in, these add so much savoury flavours to the plate! 💕

Beansprouts add a nice crunch to the plate & I added them cuz these look pretty clean! 😍😍😍 With some carrots 🥕 & spinach added when stir-frying, I liked that it brought some vibrancy to my plate. 👏🏻

Braised egg 🍳 could be braised for a longer time but well, it still was a yummy & good source of protein! 💪🏻

Just $4.50 for a filling plate like this - so worth it! ✌🏻

Rice was additional $0.70, which I didn’t get. Soup was nice, with a slight sweetness. There were some slices of ginger and I enjoyed the abundant green leafy vege. Ideal for rainy afternoon.

This Koufu was hidden in a corner of level 4 of Square 2.
