Worth the journey to Yishun for. Chicken grilled to perfection; will return to try their lamb next.

Although it is consider expensive for a hawker food, but it remain one of the only few places that you can try Nasi Kerabu in Singapore. Which usually can find commonly in Malaysia.

But the portion definitely worth your pocket, as it is generously given. I really felt full after finish everything.

The salad is accented with pearls of pomegranate, pomelo pulp, lemongrass, and chiffonaded kaffir lime leaves. Which you have to mix them together with the turmeric rice for the aromatic taste.

The grilled chicken was so juicy and flavourful.

The sambal is also tastes excellent with chicken and rice, accompanied with fish cracker and salted egg.

Indulging in the Exquisite Nasi Kerabu with Chicken at Kerabu by Arang! πŸ’™πŸ—

At $13, the Nasi Kerabu with Chicken might raise some eyebrows due to its hawker setting, but let me assure you, it's worth every penny. This dish is a delightful twist on the classic Nasi Kerabu, showcasing exceptional passion and skill in its preparation. The quality is truly top-notch, delivering a satisfying explosion of flavours with every bite.

This delectable dish features Nasi Kunyit, Keropok Ikan, Salted Egg, Sambal Budu, Winged Bean Salad, and Ayam Percik. The Nasi Kunyit, or turmeric rice, exudes a delightful fragrance with basmati rice soaked in coconut milk, offering a fluffy and flavourful experience.

The Kerabu Salad, a medley of winged beans, pomelo pulp, pomegranate, lemongrass, torch ginger flower and kaffir lime, provides a hearty, zesty, and refreshing crunch. The inclusion of Keropok Ikan adds a savoury and crunchy element to the ensemble.

A highlight is the Sambal Budu – a spicy chilli paste mixed with fermented fish sauce. This condiment boasts a unique paste texture, packing a punch that might make your ears ring, yet its addictiveness grows with each bite.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the grilled chicken. Unbelievably tender to the core, it delivers a charry, smokey, and intensely flavourful experience. The succulent meat, marinated with turmeric, is moist and not a bit dry. The coconutty sauce, rich with spices, adds an extra layer of sweet and savoury goodness. Truly an outstanding creation.

Despite the higher price tag, the crowd is drawn to Kerabu by Arang for good reason. This Nasi Kerabu is an extraordinary experience that I wouldn't mind travelling back for.
