豆浆油条 is the best combo, agree?

Soybean Milk ($2.20)
A natural and relatively healthy beverage with a mild sweetness. The soya bean taste resonates well, catering to a wide audience seeking a genuine and unadulterated soybean experience.

You Tiao (Dough Fritter) ($1.80)
The dough fritters are freshly deep-fried on the spot, ensuring quality and freshness. They possess a doughy texture with a light crispiness, though a tad greasy. The immediate preparation enhances the overall experience, making it a satisfying accompaniment to the soybean milk.

Indulging in the Exquisite Nasi Kerabu with Chicken at Kerabu by Arang! 💙🍗

At $13, the Nasi Kerabu with Chicken might raise some eyebrows due to its hawker setting, but let me assure you, it's worth every penny. This dish is a delightful twist on the classic Nasi Kerabu, showcasing exceptional passion and skill in its preparation. The quality is truly top-notch, delivering a satisfying explosion of flavours with every bite.

This delectable dish features Nasi Kunyit, Keropok Ikan, Salted Egg, Sambal Budu, Winged Bean Salad, and Ayam Percik. The Nasi Kunyit, or turmeric rice, exudes a delightful fragrance with basmati rice soaked in coconut milk, offering a fluffy and flavourful experience.

The Kerabu Salad, a medley of winged beans, pomelo pulp, pomegranate, lemongrass, torch ginger flower and kaffir lime, provides a hearty, zesty, and refreshing crunch. The inclusion of Keropok Ikan adds a savoury and crunchy element to the ensemble.

A highlight is the Sambal Budu – a spicy chilli paste mixed with fermented fish sauce. This condiment boasts a unique paste texture, packing a punch that might make your ears ring, yet its addictiveness grows with each bite.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the grilled chicken. Unbelievably tender to the core, it delivers a charry, smokey, and intensely flavourful experience. The succulent meat, marinated with turmeric, is moist and not a bit dry. The coconutty sauce, rich with spices, adds an extra layer of sweet and savoury goodness. Truly an outstanding creation.

Despite the higher price tag, the crowd is drawn to Kerabu by Arang for good reason. This Nasi Kerabu is an extraordinary experience that I wouldn't mind travelling back for.

Lastly, the Sakura Entremet priced at $9.50. This lovely creation had sakura whip, lychee peach compote, vanilla sponge, and vanilla sable. It provided a fruity and juicy delight reminiscent of enjoying fresh peaches.

Moving on to the Pear Entremet, priced at $9.50. An artful pear-shaped creation composed of pear whip, cinnamon pear compote, vanilla sponge, and cinnamon sable. The rich pear compote was perfectly balanced in sweetness.

Next, we tried the Gula Melaka Opera at $9. A carefully layered cake featuring jaconde sponge, coconut feuilletine base, dark chocolate ganache, and gula melaka buttercream, all topped with a dark glaze. While the sponge cake was decent, it didn't quite deliver the anticipated burst of Gula Melaka flavour.

First on the list is the Mango Tart priced at $8.50. A vanilla tart filled with luscious dark chocolate coconut ganache, zested mango compote, almond cream, and vanilla chantilly, all enclosed with a vanilla sable crust. This sweet treat offered a nice blend of mango, chocolate, and zest.

Last but not least, the Morrocan Spiced Short Ribs priced at $38 offered a fascinating taste experience. The braised prime steer ribs were slow-cooked to tender perfection, covered in Morrocan spices. Served over pearl couscous and tomato confit, and accompanied by turmeric, this dish had a hearty and gamey flavour.

For a unique and flavoursome pasta option, the Sea Urchin Tagliatelle at $39 was a standout choice. Tagliatelle cooked in uni mentaiko sauce and adorned with avruga caviar, Hokkaido scallops, air-flown uni, and edamame, creating an umami-rich haute pasta.

Next, the Pan Seared Salmon with Coconut Cream Sauce priced at $34. This modern European dish with Malayan influence featured soft and meaty Norwegian salmon atop a bed of vibrant vegetables - capsicum, zucchini, and US asparagus. Topped with avruga caviar and drizzled with kicap manis glaze, it was served with a delectable coconut cream sauce.

First up, the Striploin with Pomegranate Reduction priced at $42. The butter-infused striploin was skillfully cooked to a medium rare, resulting in a succulent and well-seasoned dish. Topped with pomegranate reduction and served with beef jus, it looked as beautiful as it tasted.
