Newer stall than the rest. Good seafood flavour, but the puffed rice was useless. Very generous ingredients. The fish paste surprised me because it's my first time seeing it.
I thought nice idea, one-pax army stew. But it's a scam. Not only was it just kimchi soup with more ingredients, it's an insult to call this Korean. The soup was bland and the ingredients were bland, a twisted achievement when you can make luncheon meat and hotdog bland. 20km drive from my residence and both stalls I patronised were horrible.
Bought the black chicken soup for $6.00, standard size bowl, but not super boiling hot.
It came with a quarter black chicken , some herbs and roots, red dates etc. Chicken was fall off the bones, quite tender - but expected coming from the steamer. All soup are from the drawer steamer so do expect some quality being traded off there. Soup aren’t refillable so savour while it last.
A good option for a light dinner if you are around the area.
Not sure what is the exact name but it is Grill Ayam Penyet ($6.30). The chicken is nice and sauce is good. Chilli is spicier than I expect which give the kick.
A rather decent bowl of yongtaufoo. Slightly above average (compared to the standard foodcourt ytfs). I would say that this is the baseline for ‘specialty’ ytf stores that serve great ytf. The standout item here was the eggplant! Also, portions are huge, with lots of ingredients given.
Was quite 嘛 but not too spicy (we ordered 小辣). Not bad, my dinner buddy really likes this!
