Opened by the same folks behind The Coastal Settlement, Jubilee Coffee House and Bar, likewise, brings you down memory lane complete with a cosy old-school vibe. Falling in place with the area’s idyllic coastal setting, it is definitely a treat to look out into the lush greenery from the charming restored bungalow all while sipping on a warm cup of tea.

With flavours available exclusively at selected establishments, Jubilee Coffee House carries a lovely selection of aromatic Dilmah Teas but I especially enjoyed the Rose with French Vanilla and Lively Lime & Orange Fusion. Paired with savoury petite sandwiches and scones (available during booked events), the Lively Lime & Orange Fusion tea had a pleasant yet subtle citrus note that complemented the pastries and refresh the palate. The Rose with French Vanilla which was my favourite at the Dilmah trail, also gave a delicate and tantalizing fragrance as the gentle floral flavoured tea went surprisingly well with the sweet desserts.

This was a hosted meal. Thank you Burpple for the invite as well as Dilmah and Food Cult PR for the hospitality!

There's something about sipping a cup of tea and eating dainty cakes and bites that feels so relaxing. Pampered by #dilmahsg and #jubileecoffeehouse last weekend with this lovely high tea spread. I particularly loved the pairing of the light, fluffy strawberry shortcake with fragrant Rose with French Vanilla tea. Thanks @burpple for the invite, @dilmahsg and @foodcultpr for the lovely afternoon 🍡 #burpple #afternoontea #hightea #dessert #desserttable

A Glorious caesar salad in such a windy and only slightly sunny afternoon maybe all I ask for and probably the only thing that I need. Crunchy romaine πŸ’š x sliced Juicy tomatoes πŸ… x a source of Protein & choline from those 🍳 and x a succulent steamed 🍀 all gracefully, gorgeously & generously drizzled n' dusted with a really good caesar dressing and parmesan cheese πŸ§€ mmmmmmm~ πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹ Can I has this please for my dinner 🍴 too!

Up for a drive to the far east? Acquaint Gen Z children with the days gone by at this retro-themed cafe near Changi Beach Club. Housed in a restored bungalow, everything β€” from the vintage car parked outside to chairs and knick knacks β€” is an ode to the 1960s. Make it a multi-generation day out, so grandparents can regale kids with tales of yesteryear. Let young ones work up an appetite playing hopscotch, then have the whole family tuck into local fare ike Pork Cutlet Rice with Curry ($18), Ter Kah Beehoon ($15) with braised pig trotter's and Battered Otah Sticks ($13). Granted, the prices are on the high side, but the food is tasty and the ambience is unique. For dessert, skip the Chinese sweet soups and go for old-school cakes like Black Forest ($8) and Pandan ($5) instead.
