If Maggie mee msg were on steroids. That’s how it would taste like. The noodles was extremely soft, definitely nearly sending me home to my jia xiang. The food came with wanton, vegetables, char siew and chili. The chili is superrrrr delicious it’s almost like they fed the chili tree msg water throughout its lifetime and chopping it off.
Soup was so delicious that I drank it in 5 mouths. Or now thinking back maybe the bowl was just smol
✨Jia Xiang Mee (家香面)✨
The noodles are springy and I really like the little bits of minced meat, mixing both together gives a QQ taste. The meat was a little tough to chew and dry, but the soup makes up for it👍🏻 It is slightly pricey for a dish that can be found in a hawker centre. I thought that there would be something special added for it to stand out from other noodles.

Was looking for fish meal and chanced upon this shop selling fish soup though its popular selling kolo mee. The fish soup can be accompanied by rice or noodles. What surprised me was the very fresh fish slices and quality of the soup. Overall it’s a very satisfying fish meal.
Springy egg noodles tossed in pork lard oil and savoury sauce. Their char siew slices have a hint of sweetness which complemented the savoury noodles really well. Their wantons were meaty and filled with their well seasoned meat. However it does get oily nearing the end.
(SGD$7.90) Jia Xiang Mian is their signature "kolo mee" noodles set. It includes a bowl of noodles and a bowl of prawn & meat dumplings soup. The noodles have a springy texture. The accompanying sauce is savoury and topped with oily pork lard. The char siew meat (barbecued pork) is grilled to tasty flavour with a sweet hint. The bowl of soup is relatively bland but works as soothing sips in between mouthfuls of the noodles. The prawns are glass prawns and the meat dumplings are not bad.

The chicken was fried on the spot, so it was fresh and juicy! I liked the noodles but the portion was a bit small... or maybe I am just a big eater.
