Imperial Treasure Fine Teochew Cuisine (ION Orchard)

Quite sweet, no lard, the high quality pumpkin and gingko worked well

But why it costs almost 20 bucks for 1 pax portion, only jesus knows

Overall:above average Teochew for jaw dropping prices. Avoid at all costs

Quite watery, a clean version and very good chestnuts.

But the price is ridiculous, this wasnt mindblowingly by any means

PSA half their menu is not available. Ridiculous, for 1 star restaurant no less. Thats why we got this which was completely outside of research

It's alright, the satay sauce isnt particularly punchy but the Angus beef slices were reasonably tender

It's alright, nothing spectacular and utterly overpriced. The cabbage isnt even stewed, the sauce is just ladled on top

As ppl say, quite well Fried, not v strong flavours, there's some wok hei and not as crispy as it looks. It looks like theres enough chye Poh but their chye Poh is damn weak so definitely ask for extra. Somewhat oily

The sauce really is as ppl say, it's very clean and very refined, you can immediately Tell it's of exceptional quality, very different from anything ive had. Plus they put oil so it's abit op

Unfortunately, duck is tough, pork knuckles has way too much bite despite being sliced Thinly, and the tofu which is unique in texture doesnt pick up enough sauce to go along w its denseness
