2 regular rice is more than enough to feed 3
Their gizzard and liver were all well cooked, hardly any stench
Liver was pretty decent.
White Ckn was quite tender and slightly Salted, the Base sauce is exactly the same flavour. Not your usual soy based sauce
Achar was nice, but entirely without heat.
Overall pretty good portion for the price, queue is long but moves reasonably
This is actually my first time here in this hawker centre, and chosen this stall as my first stop for the food here.
Although they come with some bone but still a lot of juicy meat. $4 (big)
Always a long queue at this chicken rice stall so I decided to dabao home. And little wonder. Whilst the chicken was not exactly boneless like what some people prefer, it was very tender and not over cooked. The chicken gizzard was very crunchy without any foul taste at all. The chicken rice chilli was spicy without being too overpowering so that it pairs well with meat and rice. The best part is their Achar. Crunchy, sweet and sour, easily the best commercial Achar thatI have had for a very long time.
This one, I’ll be back for sure!
Smooth and well roasted chicken with lots of flavour in the chicken skin. Chicken rice used small grains so not as fluffy and could have been more flavourful. Chili had a strong citrusy kick and carried quite some heat. Accompanied by a simple but decent cabbage soup
Overall an above average plate and worth a try if you're in the area

If Nan Xiang Chicken Rice is my number 1 favourite hainanese chicken rice in sg, Hup Hong is definitely not far away. :) #chickenrice #chicken #foodporn #igsg #sgig #foodphotography #foodgram #instafood #sgfoodie #daily #싱가포르 #singapore #foodie #daily #huphongchickenrice #katong #burpple #sgeat #foodpornsg #foodinfluencer #foodblogger #influencer #burpplesg
