A citrusy and refreshing drink that is light enough to cleanse and aid in digestion after having a hearty tze char meal 》$1.60
This steamed chicken with golden needle and black fungus is simple, comforting and full of Cantonese flavours. The steamed chicken was tender and absorbed most of the musky earthy flavour from the golden needle, creating a broth that has all the goodies of chicken after steaming. Not to mention the texture of black fungus was so delicate and smooth. We really enjoyed all the different flavours and textures coming together. This dish is a daily special and off the menu 》$16/half chicken
Stir-fried baby kai lan with garlic 》$7/small
Perfectly cooked and flavoured. Something simple, fresh and crunchy to add-on.
Fresh fish head in fragrant and well-balanced curry gravy with generous servings of vegetables. The curry was thick and creamy which makes for an excellent pairing with rice. I like how it was not too spicy and suited everyone especially for those who have a low tolerance for spicy food.
Pay this place a visit for their cheap and delicious Cantonese tze char. It can get really crowded on weekends hence it's better to make a reservation to avoid waiting during peak meal hours 》$26
These butter squids were nicely fried to a crispy exterior with curry leaves and chilli. The batter was fragrant but wasn't really buttery after all. We can't stop ourselves from chewing and munching on these while waiting for the rest of the food to arrive 》$10/Small
We waited one hour for our dinner. They were processing a lot of takeaway orders hence the waiting time. Did not expect much from a small coffee shop but the food amazes me. I would encourage spicy food lovers to try their curry fish head. They have a good portion of vegetables together with the fish. Other must-orders are the fried squid, prawn paste chicken and sweet sour pork ribs.
