had this, along with the nutella bun, back in May 2021 and i remember significantly that the cream was sour :( not a fan of either, but others seem to feel otherwise. go try it for yourself! 😋
As I go to any Korean restaurant, I usually would order their pancake as side dish.
Sadly their seafood pancake here was truly disappointing. It is taste more of just flour without any flavours, even as it added some shrimp on it.
The pancake not just too hard to eat but totally not appetite at all.
The noodle recipe was impart from an old Korean lady – Halmuni – (Grandmother) Song. Which used secret recipe to created this unique noodles soup.
The soup was tasty and interesting to find lots of dry shrimp in it.
I think the Phase 2 Heightened Alert affected their business a lot. Still many cream buns and bread after 8pm. They were running a promo for the bread at 2 for $2.80 so I got those.
Thought it was just a normal bread but wow, it is dense and had lots of filling. The meat was also tasty and getting it for only $1.40 was a steal! Good buy and glad I bought it last night.
Filled generously with taro cream, and although the cream was light, it did get jelak to finish alone - it's best for sharing. The taro cream did have an artificial taste, and the bread was also slightly hard and dry.
Finally finished the original series. Overhyped. It's not bad, it's exactly what you expect and it's satisfying enough if this is what you're looking for. Not nothing particularly stunning at all, and the Nutella taste is on the milder side
