I didn’t realised this Malay food stall at Hong Lim Food Centre has been here for very long since 2002, Dapur F. Faiz serving variety Malay cuisines.
Decided to try this stall after so many years working in Chinatown. I came late lunch time and only a few options left, which mee soto still available.
Their price is consider affordable for now. Their mee soto comes with slices of shredded chicken and noodles. Tasty and enjoyable.
curry was delicious and they gave lots of taupok which i love! chicken was also vv tender but they gave q little chicken. this was on food king and i think usually they have a much longer queue but thankfully i didn’t have to queue v long ðŸ¤ðŸ¤
Ordered their signature noodle ($4.50) and kind of disappointed. I was hoping it will be more flavourful but kind of bland and not much ingredients.
Had this Breakfast Set ($4.40) from Zheng Ming Cha Shi æ£æ˜ŽèŒ¶å®¤. Decent meal at a hawker centre
Chai Kee Fish Soup stall at the 1st level is where you can go for some comforting fish soup.
Love their warm and light soup with pieces of sliced fish, comes with pieces of sliced fish and vegetables.
Don’t forget to add their fried shallot to the soup.
Came for Cantonese Delight again and this time for the Shredded Chicken Hor Fun ($4.50), 5 x Wanton Soup ($1.80) & 1 x portion of Char Siew ($2.50).
The noodles and mushroom was generous in the Hor Fun. You can feel and taste the crunchyness from the wanton and I like the caramalised and the flavour of the Char Siew.
Overall, is a very good meal and worth the queue for me. Would not mind queue for it again.
