Hong Kong Jin Tian (Havelock Road Cooked Food Centre)

We shared a mixed meat platter of char siew, roasted pork and roasted duck, with the roasted pork and duck being my favourites. The roasted pork had a nice savoury flavour with crispy skin while the duck has minimal gaminess and not too dry. For the char siew, I would have preferred if it was charred more with the burnt ends and having more fats to meat ratio.

鸡肉鲜美，配上独特的姜葱油，另有一番味道。一只$35/-.

Not v crispy, nor super tender, but the flavour is real. Sapid and the charcoal flavour comes through easily. Not bad at all

I told the Cantonese owner they were closed three times I visited and today it's open when I was only passing by haha. Unfortunately I think I ordered the wrong things - maybe they should be roast duck and noodles. Char siew was mediocre but roast meat was decent - chunky and crispy skin. He told me to take more of that garnish, then I realised everyone raves about it haha.

Roasted Duck Rice fetches you several thickly-sliced duck served atop nicely separated white grains.
