Black Sesame Mochi Shio Pan ($2.80)
â—‹Wish there was more of the earthy fragrant black sesame paste! Baked with their signature shio pan, the sesame-studded bun had a very pleasant savoury note which matched swimmingly with the sweet nutty filling. The mochi was so fun to bite into as well, soft and chewy~

Garlic Cheese Shio Pan ($2.60)
â—‹Real garlicky (beware of garlic breath). A lovely savoury number but nothing too mind-blowing.

Maple Bacon Shio Pan ($2.60)
â—‹Love me a salty and sweet combo. The slightly tacky coating of maple syrup worked surprisingly well with the bacon-stuffed salt bread.

Mentaiko Onion Shio Pan ($3.20)
○A tad too cloying for me with the rich creamy cod roe sauce (it kinda overpowered the taste of the bread in my opinion) and I personally felt that the chopped onions didn’t help to cut that heaviness. But a nice option if you like a strong flavour.

OG Shio Pan ($2)
â—‹My favourite! It proved that it is hard to go wrong with their classic Shio Pan. Very buttery, wonderfully tender with a slight chew and had a really nice tinge of saltiness.

🗒 I ordered online for their island-wide delivery but you can also choose self-pickup to save yourself from a possible snaking queue~

Yong Tau Foo ($4.70) for ingredients was taste much better previously that I have tried in the past. I think some ingredients got a lot of variety to choose from but for soup otherwise was slightly oily. For yong tau foo can choose between soup and dry base and six ingredients + extra charge for kolo mee.

From Fatty Cat Curry Rice
Delicious plate of savory minced pork patty, Chinese cabbages, and sliced bitter gourd over rice, drizzled with flavorful braised sauce.
A steal at $4.80!
Flavorful, satisfying, and affordable.

Crust is like a bland behtehsoh pastry crust, kinda felt like it was just flour and water. It was a little crunchy tho!

Egg custard is p soft n silky. I actually don’t mind it, but if you’re looking for a buttery/fragrant crust it’s probably not going to cut it. Can try if you want egg tart but don’t want it to feel so sinful!

Comforting and wholesome.
Highly recommended!

Added meatballs, taukwa and ajitsuke tamago. This is not a bad bowl of thunder tea rice but I still prefer the one at Tanjong Pagar Plaza. The egg is legit.
