Black Sesame Mochi Shio Pan ($2.80)
○Wish there was more of the earthy fragrant black sesame paste! Baked with their signature shio pan, the sesame-studded bun had a very pleasant savoury note which matched swimmingly with the sweet nutty filling. The mochi was so fun to bite into as well, soft and chewy~
Garlic Cheese Shio Pan ($2.60)
○Real garlicky (beware of garlic breath). A lovely savoury number but nothing too mind-blowing.
Maple Bacon Shio Pan ($2.60)
○Love me a salty and sweet combo. The slightly tacky coating of maple syrup worked surprisingly well with the bacon-stuffed salt bread.
Mentaiko Onion Shio Pan ($3.20)
○A tad too cloying for me with the rich creamy cod roe sauce (it kinda overpowered the taste of the bread in my opinion) and I personally felt that the chopped onions didn’t help to cut that heaviness. But a nice option if you like a strong flavour.
OG Shio Pan ($2)
○My favourite! It proved that it is hard to go wrong with their classic Shio Pan. Very buttery, wonderfully tender with a slight chew and had a really nice tinge of saltiness.
