($9.90) I opt out for handmade noodle. I decided to try it out for a long time. But they have different variety of sauce to put inside noodle to toss with. But I preferred to add some vinegar and chili if you order dry verison of noodle instead of soup verison. Noodle texture is not that bad as they didn't clump together. It's quite good chewy texture. The shrimp was quite normal.

Portion was pretty decent and the taste was surprisingly good. Tastes like Kolo Mee for those who know. I liked it, especially after adding some Lao gan ma for a bit of spice. Also got the mushroom sides for $2 cos why not?

Tomato broth akin to HDL's tomato soup but not as thick and umami. Still good though! The biggest surprise was the chicken cutlet - there was still a crunch even though it was drenched in the soup when served. Not bad! But the token dispensing for the ice cream was spoilt is something, so the staff gave us ice cream which was kept in a cardboard box in a cooler bag. As you would have guessed, the ice cream wasn't frozen and was semi-melted. Meh.

very classic taste of 炸酱面! and came with a free ice cream afterwards 🔥 quite affordable for something in orchard area!

We got the following food items:
-Scallion Oil Shrimp Noodle ($7.90+): There was pretty much no sauce for this? It was just scallion oil. Need to add your own concoction of spices to make it spicy and more palatable
-Tomato Chicken Cutlet Noodle ($11.90+): This was like a thicker version of Hai Di Lao's famous tomato broth soup with chicken cutlet! The chicken cutlet was soggy though.

We actually wanted to try the picked vegetable chicken cutlet noodle, but it was already sold out by the time we visited on a friday evening at 630+pm

The prices are quite reasonable and wallet friendly, especially for students!

Do not forget to claim your free ice cream (when you return the tray) too!
