Soft crumbly crust, with a thick layer of filling which is mildy sweet, and ridiculously tender with the slightest pull and chew of mochi. Incredibly good, can't rmb if it's the same as the other branch tho
Mindblowing as ever, there's this slight plastic smell tho I can't tell if it's from the mall or from the food
Still a must try
Not that chewy, more chewy than their super soft original one. But the thick crust is quite dry, even tho the peanut flavour is fine.
Overall it's ok, but vastly inferior to the original
Tbh forgot it says "lava" so I didn't expect it to be so flowy, but it's just like eating liushabao except in a pastry form.
3rd time buying their Wife Biscuit, and I still really like it! It's even better when you eat it immediately, when it's still hot - but even when it's cold, the sweetness and slight chewiness from the wintermelon is still enjoyable!
No wonder they gained fame and longevity from this. It's really a cut above others. With that said, wife biscuits aren't the most exciting food around haha.
Every bite reminisces my times in Hong Kong.
Eat it while it's warm. Doesn't taste as nice when it's cold.
