This was when they were still at Sunshine Plaza.

I love the simplicity of all of their dishes. Even the restaurant itself is small and quaint.

Their beef gyumen is a really comforting bowl of noodles. Everything in it compliments each other. By far, my fav place to head to for some Japanese noodles.

For a no-frills hangout, here's another hidden gem in Sunshine Plaza. Hungry folks who work in the area should escape here for the Gyu Don ($7.90) sporting savoury beef slices and sweet caramelised onions. Opt for the runny Onsen Egg ($1) that helps create a wonderfully moist texture when mixed in with rice. If you feel like indulding, go for the Gyu Don with Cheese ($9.90) — the same flavourful beefy bowl with the smoky, salty kick of melted cheese.

This is a very small eatery located inside Sunshine Plaza, with only a few tables inside the shop.

Come during lunch time for their promo of $9.90 and above, which you get a main or rice comes with egg and drink.

Simmered savoury and sweet thinly sliced beef and onions on rice with onsen egg and additional of slightly torched cheese on top of it.

(S$9.90, + S$1 for onsen egg)

The chicken slices are marinated in a sweet sauce with lot of onions found on top of the rice. It is slightly bland for my taste, and I have to add the soy sauce plus chili flakes to enhance the overall flavor.

(S$7.50)

a comforting bowl of ramen, beef slices, and lava eggs in very delicious spicy beef broth. struggled a bit to finish it because the spiciness was a bit more than I can handle, but it was good and I didn’t want to let myself down. 😌 their cheesy gyudon is also noteworthy! good honest beef bowl layered with melted cheese. satisfying! and as a bonus, most dishes here are less than $10.
.
thank you @gyunion for having me!
