Grilled chicken wings were really good and we could really taste the smokiness! We accidentally ordered the kids version (or smth) and it only came with like 6 pieces of wings - which we regret bc it wasn’t enough for two.
Nothing much about the lamb rack, just that it was nice and tender.
Actually highlight was the kunefe and ice cream, which I forgot to take a photo of but like ngl, it was really one of the better kunefes I’ve had in Sg. And their ice cream wasn’t the usual standard plain vanilla ice cream that sometimes you’ll get at other restaurants with the kunefe - this one tasted legit and chewy (idk?). But you just need to get the kunefe and ice cream if you’re ever here 💯💯
Coffee braised beef and could really taste the slight bitterness to the dish and it felt weird. Meat chunks were nice and tender + there were other more chewy parts too.
Thought the tacos were a little bit oily so we felt a bit jelak mid-way.
Still feel the octopus tacos are their best - flavour combo spicy and sour with the octopus cooked perfectly is just yumz.
10/10 would come back here again just for this.
Initially was a bit skeptical because we don’t always hear of octopus in tacos but this turned out really great! Octopus was nice and tender and blended really well with the other flavours.
My fav has got to be the spinach and cheese pide - it’s like pizza but better. And the spinach and cheese combination is just wowz. Good for sharing too!
Meat platter is huge, portion is enough for 3. Well seasoned and nicely cooked.
Huge portion, kinda worth the price but level 4 curry wasn’t as spicy as I thought it’d be.
Looks like a mess, but the entire meal was amazing!
We got 2 x crab in spicy Cajun sauce and mixed mussels bucket in herb and butter sauce - for 2 pax!
The spicy Cajun sauce wasn’t spicy enough tbh, but still good. A bit costly imo but kinda worth the price cos seafood was quite huge, tastes fresh and full of flavour.
Really huge portion, well balanced dishes! Sambal belacan is amazing and we thought all the dishes were not too spicy.
Fav dishes from Pu3: ayam lemak chilli padi and tahu telur
This was when they were still at Sunshine Plaza.
I love the simplicity of all of their dishes. Even the restaurant itself is small and quaint.
Their beef gyumen is a really comforting bowl of noodles. Everything in it compliments each other. By far, my fav place to head to for some Japanese noodles.
Dumplings were the highlight of my meal! Stuffed, nice and juicy.
We also had 2 types of spicy noodles and the dry dumpling noodles here. Meat is tender and juicy and broth flavourful and spicy.
Would return just for the dumplings (and noodles, of course).
Not a fan of the green peas, but got my lamb racks in medium rare - meat was juicy and tender and the sauce was really good and well seasoned. Would definitely return for the other steak options!
